My story
I’m Volha Shukaila – a professional photographer in Warsaw working with companies, NGOs, international organizations, and individuals.
I specialize in corporate event photography, business portraits, and personal branding — for websites, social media, press materials, and annual reports.
I come from photojournalism, and that shapes how I shoot. I work discreetly, read situations fast, and look for moments that feel real. My goal is not to document what happened, but to tell the story of your event, your team, or your brand — in photos that can actually be used, not just saved.
For seven years I worked as a photo reporter and photo editor at TUT.BY, the largest independent media in Belarus. I photographed factory floors and operating theatres, corporate boardrooms and street protests, business leaders and ordinary people — in Belarus and abroad. In May 2021, the authorities shut down TUT.BY and arrested 15 of my colleagues. For safety reasons, I left Belarus and moved to Warsaw.
In Poland, I work mainly in commercial photography. I also collaborate with an international photo agency with work published in Le Monde, Der Spiegel, National Geographic Poland, and Vanity Fair.
