Invited to Beijing as an international press and documentary photographer, I spent ten days working on a documentary and editorial assignment alongside an international media team. I explored Beijing beyond its iconic landmarks \u2014 capturing its cultural heritage, creative industries, technological development, and the stories shaping the city\u2019s daily life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The assignment included coverage of historic sites, creative industrial clusters, factory modernization projects, a panda research center, and the Great Wall. I was also among the first photographers to photograph Beijing Daxing International Airport shortly before its official opening, documenting one of the city\u2019s most significant new landmarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
